This database currently has 40386 Boerboel pedigrees. 1268 of these Boerboels have photos attached. It has been created to give a better picture of the Boerboel race. By connecting these 40386 pedigrees together, one giant pedigree is created with Boerboels from around the world. Because all the information is only added once to the database it becomes very easy to find what you are looking for. You can search by part name or part number with as little as 2 or 3 characters. (Even a single character search may be done, but this is nonsensical. When the correct Boerboel has been found you are able to view its pedigree. This shows you the selected Boerboel, the parents, the grandparents and the great-grandparents. You can click on any of these Boerboels to view their pedigree. This way you can "walk" through a Boerboel pedigree and go back many generations. Clicking on any name within the pedigree display will take you to the main data page for that animal (and visa-versa). There you are able to go deeper; look at Relatives; Inbreeding Pedigree... (Everything in purple is another link to further info) Because so many pedigrees have been merged into one big one lots of interesting data can be shown. It is possible to calculate the coefficients of Kinship, Relationship and Inbreeding of any Boerboel very accurately. Using such tools has shown this pedigree database to be an extremely valuable resource of information used by breeders and enthusiasts. To keep a little control over the Boerboels entered into the database only registered members of the website are allowed to enter information into the database. Registration is free and will give you full access to all the elements of this website. There is a 'Comment' facility for every dog - Breeders / Users may use this to promote these animals, stating whatever they want to about the animal in question.
